We recognise that parents and carers have the best knowledge of the child and treat them as ‘part of the team’. We encourage parents and carers to observe the child at play in the home and to use this to help develop their child’s learning.

We use different ways to communicate with parents and carers. These include: daily diaries of significant events for their children; text messages; email for photographs and WhatsApp throughout the day.
